Emma's Home Healthcare was founded by Thomasina and Shanika Smith, who have a combined 50 years of expertise. The firm is named after their grandmother and great grandmother Emma. As the years passed, Thomasina and Shanika witnessed a shift in healthcare away from love, compassion, and care. The two felt as if more individuals entered healthcare for the money rather than the genuine desire to make a difference in someone's life. As a result, the idea of establishing a home healthcare agency became a vision, and the dream of reintroducing love to healthcare one home at a time became a reality
